Ronaldo To Go To PSG or Man U

Sat May 1, 2021
With Juventus in danger of failing to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League, Cristiano Ronaldo could reportedly push for a move and has two clubs to choose between. After dropping more points in Serie A on Sunday, Andrea Pirlo's side are currently fourth in the league, tied on points with Napoli in third and AC Milan in fifth. The five remaining fixtures of the campaign will very likely decide Pirlo's fate, while Ronaldo's future in Turin also appears to depend on where the Bianconeri finish on the league table. According to Tuttosport, the 36-year-old will not stay at the Italian giants if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season. It is claimed that Ronaldo, in the event of this happening, will then choose between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United as his next destination. While the former Real Madrid forward will be seeking a transfer, Juve might also be comfortable allowing him to leave due to his astronomical €31 million (R538 million) annual salary. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been strongly linked with a stunning return to the Red Devils in recent months, although PSG have seemingly held an interest in securing his signature for quite some time. It remains to be seen whether or not the French giants would be an option for Ronaldo should they attract Lionel Messi from FC Barcelona on a free deal, with reports on Tuesday suggesting that the Argentine has been offered a contract by the Ligue 1 champions. Earlier this week, it was claimed the Portugal captain has asked his super-agent Jorge Mendes to investigate United's interest, while Real president Florentino Perez has ruled out a move for the leading goalscorer in Los Blancos' history.
